New
AAPS-UK Student Chapter Officers have been elected on
October 13th,
2006.
Vice-Chair: Anshul Gupte
(~will
assist chair in all responsibilities and advances
to chair of the student chapter the following year)
Secretary: Courtney Adams (~
responsible for meeting minutes)
Treasurer: Don White (~
responsible for the chapters finances)
Historian: John Culver (~
responsible for the website and pictures)
Brian Wortham, current Vice-Chair, will assume
the function of a Chair. In addition to listed
assignments,
every officer will be helping to plan and put together
social and scientific events. New Officers will assume
their functions on January 1, 2007 and end December 31,
2007. Good luck!!
If you were not
elected to a position but would still like to be
involved in our AAPS Chapter, just let us know. We will
have many opportunities for involvement in the near
future.
- Dr. Patrick DeLuca, George Digenis and Dean Roberts
traveled to Italy to help in establishment of AAPS
Italian Network University Student Chapter.
The ceremony was held on May 31st, 2006 at
the University of Perugia, Italy (click
