Connections at Country Boy

7 – 9 p.m. Country Boy Brewing- $8 per person, $5 for UK Alumni Association members
Join us for this exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at the new Country Boy Brewing in downtown Lexington. This new brewery is the latest hot spot and a perfect place to connect and network with fellow alumni. Hear from co-owner and UK grad, Daniel Harrison as he talks about the challenges of owning a small business in today’s economy and partake in a private tasting of Country Boys delicious drafts. Appetizers will be served.

Friday, April 12

Preceptor Conference

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. UK College of Pharmacy, 789 S. Limestone
UK College of Pharmacy and Sullivan University College of Pharmacy preceptors are invited to attend this conference specifically designed for pharmacists who serve as community-based faculty. This year’s theme is “Student Behavior and Professionalism.”

Vino and Voices

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. King Alumni House - $8 per person, $5 for UK Alumni Association members
Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres while listening to an exclusive performance by Paws and Listen, the all-female a cappella ensemble. A local winery will also be on hand giving a tasting of their most popular wines.

UK College of Pharmacy Scholarship and Awards Banquet

6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The Signature Club
The UK College of Pharmacy will recognize our scholarship recipients and student and faculty award winners with this invitation-only annual event.

Saturday, April 13

Advancing Pharmacy Practice in Kentucky Summit

8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. UK College of Pharmacy, 789 S. Limestone - $25 for pharmacists; $5 for students
This is a follow-up to last year’s wildly successful “Summit to Chart the Future of Pharmacy in Kentucky.” Practitioners and health care leaders from across the state decided to bring together everyone again in 2013 to build upon the momentum that was generated at last year’s summit.

Blue/White Football Game Tailgate

5 – 7 p.m. Commonwealth Stadium Red Lot near Gate 4 – $8 per person, $5 for UK Alumni Association members
The UK College of Pharmacy and the UK Alumni Association are sponsoring this family-friendly party prior to the most highly-anticipated spring football game in UK history. Come cheer on new Coach Mark Stoops and the team, enjoy some great food, music and giveaways.

Blue/White Game

7:00 p.m. Commonwealth Stadium
Tickets are available through UK College of Pharmacy on a first come, first serve basis at no charge. New Head Coach Mark Stoops will take part in his first Annual Blue/White scrimmage at Commonwealth Stadium.

Sunday, April 14

Day at the Races

Gates open at 11 a.m. Keeneland Race Course – $50 per person
Enjoy a buffet lunch in the Lexington and Kentucky rooms (facing the track). Doors open at 11 a.m. and buffet is from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each (limited quantity available) and include admission to the track and lunch. Pre-registration by March 29 is required with tickets available on a first-come, first-reserved basis. Dress is coat and tie for men. No denim.
