Alison Ratcliff Scholarship
Award for student interested in Pediatric Pharmacotherapy. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is major donor to this fund.
Alvin L. Schulte Endowment
Established by Jean Ann Schulte in memory of her father, who was a member of the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy and an independent pharmacist. Award given to student who excels in chemistry, is outstanding leader and who is devoted to the practice of pharmacy.
Alan Stevens Wrightson, Sr. Endowed Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Alan Wrightson, graduate of the class of 1952. Provides scholarship based upon evidence of need.
Ann and Coleman Friedman Scholarship
Established through a bequest from Coleman Friedman. Awarded to a student showing a need for financial assistance.
Arthur Glasser Scholarship
Established in memory of Dr. Arthur Glasser, emeritus faculty who taught biochemistry.
Charles T. Lesshafft Scholarship
Established to honor Dr. Charles Lesshafft and his contribution to pharmacy education; awarded to a deserving student as selected by the faculty scholarship committee.
David Christopher Flynn Memorial Endowment
Established in 2005 by Julie and Jeremy Flynn in memory of their infant son. A cash award given to a PY4 student who successfully completes a Preresidency pathway, who shows the greatest interest in clinical pharmacy practice while showing financial need and maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Dilly Curry Slone Scholarship
Named in honor of the College's first deans; awarded to a deserving student.
Doughty Hartman Fund
Named for Dick Doughty and Gloria Doughty's father, J. W. Hartman. Established by Gloria Doughty in memory of her father and husband. Award for student for the creative use of the media in promotion of pharmacy.
Dr. Pankaja K. Kadaba Pharmacy Scholarship
Awarded to students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA with financial need and pursing a graduate degree in Pharmacy. The academic scholarship office is responsible for the selection of the scholarship recipient.
Elizabeth Helton Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1990 by her sister, Anna May Helton; awarded to a graduate student interested in emphysema or pulmonary related research.
Frederick B. Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established through a trust by Ayako Phillips in memory of her husband. At execution, the fund will provide for at least one full-ride scholarship annually.
Hile Scholarships (2)
Awarded for excellence in scholarship and funded through a bequest from Isabel and Bernard Hile.
George H. Stephens Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2005 by Heather Hanks in memory of her grandfather, George Stephens, a 1959 UKCOP graduate. Awarded for excellence and financial need to a student supporting a family while in school. Essay required.
James Rhodes Memorial Endowment
Established by Clay Rhodes in memory of his father. Cash award to either a PY4 or Pharmacy resident who is of outstanding moral character, and viewed as consistently honest and trustworthy by his/her peers; must show a commitment to clinical pharmacy practice and be either enrolled or a graduate of UKCOP.
JCAP- Newby Memorial Award
Established by JCAP in honor of Willie Newby, a long-standing member and 1976 graduate of the college. When realized, funds shall be awarded to a student who demonstrates leadership and participation in professional pharmacy organizations and their community.
Kaplin & Passamaneck Scholarship
Awarded to a student with academic experience who has exhibited leadership in curricular and extracurricular activities.
Lang Deng Scholarship
Awarded to a student showing exemplary leadership. Funded in memory of Lang Deng who died while a student at the College.
Lauren Fannin Memorial Scholarship
Established by the Class of 2008, in memory of their classmate, Lauren. When realized, funds may be awarded to a PY3 from Eastern Kentucky who is deserving and in need of scholarship, and who displays high moral character.
Meijer Scholarship in Community Pharmacy
Awarded annually to a pharmacy student who expresses an interest in practicing community pharmacy.
Parent and Alumni Scholarship/Fellowship Endowment
Endowed scholarship fund that meets the matching requirements as established by the Kentucky Research Challenge Trust Fund (RCTF). Donations to this fund are endowed and matched, dollar-for-dollar by the RCFT. Income derived from the endowed fund provides scholarships and fellowships for deserving pharmacy students.
Paul Mahan Student Fund
Geographically restricted scholarship for financially needy students. Awardable to students from Knox, Bell or Whitley Counties in KY.
Peter Glavinos Graduate Scholarship
Established in memory of Peter Glavinos, a Ph.D. student interested in research. Recipient must be within the top 50 percent of the class and show an intense interest in pharmaceutical research.
Pharmacy Alumni Association Scholarship
Provided to a deserving student and funded by dues received by the Pharmacy Alumni Association.
Pharmacy General Scholarship
General fund for scholarship dollars not to be endowed. Provides scholarship assistance to students meeting the requirement for financial aid.
Rite Aid Scholarship Endowment Fund
Awarded to a College of Pharmacy student in good standing.
Rouben Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
When endowed the fund will be awarded to a PY 2, PY3 or PY4 Pharmacy Practice and Science student demonstrating consistent academic achievement and financial need. Preference shall be given to a first generation college student. Established in 2005 by Bobbi and Joe Rouben.
Simon N. Jones Scholarship
Provides general scholarship support.
Named for Earl Platt Slone, and established by his wife, Constance, at her death to honor her husband and his accomplishments while dean of the College. Scholarship is awarded to a deserving student.
W. O. Votteler Scholarship
Established in 2003; supports Pharm D students needing financial assistance.
