2nd Year Student Named Mayo Clinic Intern

Robert “Zach” Thompson, a second-year PharmD student from Cadiz, Kentucky, has been accepted into the prestigious Mayo School of Health Sciences Summer Pharmacy Internship. Thompson is one of seven pharmacy students from across the nation selected to take part in this program.

The Mayo School of Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic program offers salaried 10-week internships to students in either a hospital/inpatient or clinical/outpatient setting. Thompson’s intership will be in the hospital/inpatient setting. The program is designed to offer student pharmacists in-depth exposure to pharmaceutical services at one of the world’s premier medical centers. Thompson will work at one of two hospitals in the Mayo system – Saint Marys Hospital or Rochester Methodist Hospital.
