Daniel Lewis - Pharm.D., BCPS
Dr. Lewis received his Bachelor's and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Duquesne University in 1998 and 1999 and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University Hospital of Cincinnati in 2000. He serves as the clinical pharmacist for the adult internal medicine services as well as the clinical pharmacokinetics service (CPS) at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. This position serves to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients on the Internal Medicine services through integrated drug distribution, clinical rounding services, research and teaching. Other responsibilities include coordination of pharmaceutical care provided to patients receiving anticoagulants and other monitorable drugs. Dr. Lewis serves as co-coordinator and lecturer in the third year advanced pharmacotherapy course. He also provides experiential education to fourth year students through the internal medicine rotation.
