Timothy Clifford - Pharm.D., BCPS
Dr. Clifford received his bachelor of science and doctor of pharmacy degrees from the University of Kentucky. He then completed a pharmacy practice residency and critical care/nutrition support specialty residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Dr. Clifford works with a team of physicians and nurses to provide comprehensive pharmacy services to transplant patients. His primary care area is in the abdominal transplant program which encompasses kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants. He serves as preceptor for both pharmacy students and residents for the abdominal transplant service. His area of practice includes service to both inpatient and outpatient transplant teams.
His areas of interest include immunosuppression, clinical outcomes in the kidney and liver transplantation, transplant protocol development, nutrition support, and Hepatitis C infection.
