Elimination - Gallium (Ga)
-
After an intravenous
injection of Ga chloride or Ga citrate to rats, more Ga from the
chloride was excreted in the urine after 6 hours than the citrate.
However, the total 96 hour urinary excretion of Ga was 59 and 73% after
Ga chloride or Ga citrate injection, respectively. The total 96 hour
fecal Ga excretion was 3.3 and 7.8% after injection of the chloride and
citrate, respectively
(King et al.,
1951; Brucer
et al., 1953).
