Owensboro-Greater Daviess County CEC

Owensboro CEC

The Owensboro-Greater Daviess County Clinical Education Center (CEC) is a partnership between the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and the Owensboro Medical Health System (OMHS). The CEC concept is intended to enhance the delivery of experiential education in the CEC service area by enhancing student experiences and serving as a resource to area preceptors. The CEC offices are housed within OMHS's Parrish Avenue Campus.


Structured Learning Activities

Owensboro CEC

o The CEC holds regularly scheduled meetings that offer students, preceptors, pharmacist and other healthcare providers the opportunity to deliver presentations, share experiences and network.

o The CEC offers the opportunity for students, preceptors and pharmacists to participate in pharmacotherapy grand rounds given on the Lexington, KY campus. Many offer continuing educaton credit for licensed pharmacists.
